When you buy the perfect pair of high heels and suffer later with dreadful shoe bites you regret purchasing those heels in the first place. If you really love those shoes and don’t want to get rid of them at any cost then here are 3 simple ways to avoid t shoe bites:
1. Baby Oil:
One easy, safe and natural way to avoid shoe bites is by applying baby oil on the parts of your shoes where they are hard and hurt you. This method can be used even with leather shoes safely. The oil should get the hard leather a bit softened so it won’t hurt you anymore. Leave the shoes for two or three days and you can wear your new shoes again without worrying about shoe bites.
2. Silicone Pads:
Shoes that dig in at the back or rub against the ankle are a real pain. For a pair with a thick strap across the back, you can buy silicon pads to put on your heels or stick in your shoes – but if you own a pair of nipple petals, they will do the job nicely. Made of silicone, they’re sticky on one side, so you just peel off the backing film and apply to your heel. They’re washable and some can be reused up to 20 times. These are brilliant, especially if you’ve already got the beginnings of a blister.
Many people learn where in their feet their shoes may hurt and they put a Band-Aid before wearing the shoes. It is an easy and comfortable way to avoid shoe bites and blisters that occur from new or hard leather shoes.
